The Friendly Little Star

High in the night sky lived a small star named Lina.

Lina loved shining brightly every night.

One evening she noticed a small cloud crying.

“Why are you sad?” Lina asked.

The cloud answered,

“I cannot shine like the stars.”

Lina smiled gently.

“You don’t have to shine like us. You help bring rain to the earth.”

The cloud felt better.

From that night on, Lina and the cloud became good friends.

They both learned that everyone has their own special role.
